Day 1 : Mother Teresa Airport – Tirana (18 km)

Meet at airport and drive to Tirana (the capital city) .Some of the tourist attractions that we can visit are:  the Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock tower, Scanderbeg Suqare, Othodox Church, National Historic Museum. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 2: TiranaKrujaShkodraTirana (94 km)

After breakfast, we travel to Kruja, a small town situated  high on the face of a hill, center of the Albanian resistance against the Ottomans  under the leadership of our national hero Scanderbeg. Visit the fortress of Kruja, the Scanderbeg Museum, Ethnographic Museum, and the Old Bazaar full of souvenirs including hand made ones. Traditional Albanian Lunch in Kruja. (optional) Afterwards we drive  to Shkodra an  important town of north Albania and the Illyrian capital, in the 3rd century BC. We visit the Rozafa castle with spectacular views all around. Afterwards we visit    Mesi Bridge an old bridge built in the mid 18th century with beautiful mountain scenery. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 3 : TiranaElbasanPogradec (128 km)

In the morning we drive   to Elbasan, visit Elbasani Castle  and Saint Mary Church inside the castle. Continue  our way to Pogradec on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Visit  Drilon and Enver Hoxha’s  Villa,that used to be the old fishing villa of the dictator. Then we proceed to the small village of Tushemisht to explore traditional village life in this picturesque area of the country. Overnight in Pogradec.

Day 4 : PogradecKorca – Voskopoja – Korca (67 km)

After breakfast we drive to  Korca where we visit the Museum of Medieval Arts and the Mosque of Mirahori one of the oldest in the country and the Orthodox Cathedral. Afterwards we drive to   Voskopoja one of the most important towns in the Balkans during the beginning of the 18th century. We visit a number of monuments and churches . Lunch in Voskopoja.(optional) Afterwards we return to Korca , afternoon free  to explore the important town of south Albania. Overnight in Korca.

Day 5 : KorçaPermetGjirokastra (Unesco) (191 km)

We begin our way    from Korça to Gjirokastra early in the morning a museum city and UNESCO heritage site. Continue on through breathtaking  scenery of the mountainous area of Leskovik and Kolonja. Lunch in Kelcyre (optional). After lunch depart for the visit to Gjirokastra city, the birthplace of  the  dictator , Enver Hoxha. Visit in the  weapons museum and the Ethnographic Museum which is also the house the Albanian dictator. Overnight in Gjirokastra.

Day 6 : Gjirokastra (Unesco) – Blue Eye – Mesopotam church – Butrinti (Unesco) – Saranda (93 km)

In the morning we drive   to  city.Saranda. On the way we stop to visit the Blue Eye spring – a natural spring shaped like an eye, full of   blue and turquoise colours, surrounded by  very old  trees. Afterwards, we make a quick stop at the Mesopotam Church where you can enjoy mythological  carvings.  We visit the Lekuresi Fortress in Saranda,from this point of the city you can see a stunning bay of the town ,and in a distance of 7 km away you can see Corfu ,a Greek Island.  After lunch we proceed the   visit to the ancient city of Butrint another UNESCO world heritage  site. The city was first settled by Greek colonists and was continuously inhabited for centuries forming archaeological layers of different civilizations.This ancient city has been an important discovery in the Mediterranean. It is situated in a beautiful peninsula among dense vegetation, offering visitors more than just old ruins. We return to Saranda, overnight in Saranda.

Day 7 : SarandaVlora (125 km)

After breakfast we drive  to Vlora ,during the trip  there are stunning views of the Albanian Riviera. We stop in Himara,in order to pass some hours by the sea.Afterward we drive to Llogara,a pictoresque village,1000m above the see level. After lunch we continue on to Vlora.It is considered  to be The city of Inependence . After  we check in at the hotel ,we visit the original house where the Independence document was signed in 1912.It is the called the Independence Museum. Overnight in Vlora.

Day 8 : VloraApollonia – Ardenica – Berat (Unesco) (112 km)

After breakfast we drive to  the ancient city of Apollonia one of the most important ancient centers in Roman times on the famous Via Egnatia. Visit the  city and an Orthodox monastery which was  turned into an archaeological museum. Afterwards we proceed to the Monastery of Ardenica. Ardenica Abbey  has been created in the beginning of 18th century.  Inside the church you can appreciate  pictures from the years 1743-1745, painted by Albanian artists such as Konstandin and Athanos Zografi, as well as Konstandin Shpataraku. Afterwards we proceed our way  to Berat, one of the most visited and attractive towns in Albania. It is a UNESCO world heritage site in this town.It   is considered as one of the best examples of Ottoman architecture outside  Turkey. Overnight in Berat.

Day 9 : BeratDurresTirana (133 km)

After breakfastwe will  visit  the castle. This castle  has a living quarter within it and the Onufri museum. Onufri was an Albanian Icon master painter of the 16th century. He painted many orthodox churches in Albania and Greece. After the visist, we drive  to Durres. Take a sightseeing tour of the town and Amphitheatre situated in the middle of the modern city in an inhabited area.  The afternoon is the exact time to turn to Tirana. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 10 : Tirana – Mother Teresa Airport (18 km)

After breakfast  you will enjoy some free hours at your disposal, until it is  time to  transfer to the Airport. End of our service.
